Support to an entrepreneur in food production - Organic Land Donje Grgure

Support to Entrepreneurs, Micro and Small Enterprises

The entrepreneur is engaged in processing of fruits, vegetables and dairy that is certified as organic. A fruits and vegetable processing line, mill and press will be procured through the grant in order to increase the production capacity and immediately create one new job and three more in the long term. As part of the corporate social responsibility activities, the entrepreneur will provide donations to children from local primary schools.

The entrepreneur is engaged in processing and preserving fruits and has 60 cooperants, agricultural households and cooperatives who rely on their capacity to secure fair price and certain sell of their products. Through the grant, equipment for the production and packaging will be procured in order to improve production capacity, increase productivity and create three new jobs immediately and another ten subsequently. The entrepreneur will conduct corporate social responsibility activities that include the donation of products to socially vulnerable members of the local community.

Support to a clothing producing enterprise - Ivko Knits d.o.o.

The enterprise produces women's knitted garments for IVKO DOO using high knitting technology, which are then sold through the IVKO DOO retail stores in Serbia and abroad, and in larger quantities through their offices in Germany, United States and China. A sophisticated embroidery machine will be procured through the grant, which will increase efficiency and introduce innovation. This will immediately create three new jobs and eventually another seven. The corporate social responsibility activities which the enterprise will be implementing include the provision of an internship programme and donation of medical equipment to a local health care centre.

The plastic (crates) production micro enterprise will procure automatic injection moulding tools in order to increase productivity and quality of final products. The production currently employs four workers while resulting job creation is one immediate post and additional two within a three-year period. The proposed CSR activity envisages donation of two desktop computers to a Merošina primary school.

Development of Detailed Regulation Plan for tourist area Blace Lake

DRP

The Detailed Regulation Plan for the tourist area at the Blace Lake should support the intention of the municipality to clean the lake, reversing its transformation into a swamp, in order to preserve plants and animal world and to protect the area from construction. The lake area will be arranged to attract tourism, catering to hikers, fishermen, mountaineers, bikers and walkers.

Provision of a back-up server for the e-permitting system

E-permitting

Improvement of the electronic system for the issuance of building permits through the provision of a back-up server, which will enhance its stability and availability for over 6,500 users that benefit from it every day. Server and network equipment were procured through the project, as well as necessary licences. The aim of this activity was to contribute to the creation of a more favourable business environment by improving the efficiency and transparency of the e-government and, ultimatively, to new investments. At the same time, citizens’ trust in institutions, as well as the quality of services that are being offered through the e-government will also be enhanced.
