Provision of a back-up server for the e-permitting system

E-permitting

Improvement of the electronic system for the issuance of building permits through the provision of a back-up server, which will enhance its stability and availability for over 6,500 users that benefit from it every day. Server and network equipment were procured through the project, as well as necessary licences. The aim of this activity was to contribute to the creation of a more favourable business environment by improving the efficiency and transparency of the e-government and, ultimatively, to new investments. At the same time, citizens’ trust in institutions, as well as the quality of services that are being offered through the e-government will also be enhanced.

Reconstruction of Sports Hall in the Primary School “Milosav Stiković”

Local Infrastructure

The reconstruction and equipping of the sports hall within the Primary School “Milosav Stiković” will provide adequate conditions for sports activities for 629 school children and the wider community, preschool children, athletes as well as people with disabilities. Within the good governance activities, the sports development plan will set the procedures for the organised use of the facility, with special attention given to the vulnerable groups.

Inclusive Protection of Intangible Heritage – A Bridge between Cultures

Fostering Social Cohesion in Multi-Ethnic Municipalities

Improving the level of cooperation and trust between Serbian and Bosniak communities through promotion of interculturalism and protection of intangible cultural heritage in the region. Additionally, inclusive and integrative instruments will be created through dialogue and cross-sectorial cooperation of relevant regional actors and experts at national level, to advance the cooperation between the two communities. Fostering Social Cohesion in Multi-Ethnic Municipalities

Strengthening the capacities of the journalists working in local media to objectively report on minority rights, raise awareness and inform the public, particularly youth, on the rights of national minorities and respect for cultural and linguistic diversity. The project will also target high school students who will be involved in developing material for promoting interculturalism among their fellow students. The project targets beneficiaries from the Prijepolje and municipalities of South West Serbia.
