Support to an entrepreneur in clothing production - Hami Taj

Support to Entrepreneurs, Micro and Small Enterprises

The entrepreneur is engaged in the production of clothes and underwear and provision of custom sewing services. The grant will be used to procure specialised sewing machines in order to increase productivity, expand the production capacity and reduce production costs. In total three new jobs would be created immediately and seven other in the long term. The entrepreneur will be conducting corporate social responsibility activities which include the provision of on the job trainings for new employees and donation of pyjamas to the local hospital.

Support to an entrepreneur in textile production Anonymous Clothing

Support to Entrepreneurs, Micro and Small Enterprises

The textile (sportswear) production enterprise will procure machines for cloth tailoring, cutting and processing in order to increase production capacity and introduce new products – skirts, dresses and tights. The production currently employs 16 workers while resulting job creation is four immediate posts and additional 12 within a three-year period. The proposed CSR activity envisages donation of their own products to the charity "Merhamet" as well as sweatshirts and tracksuits donation to local sports clubs.

The textile (clothing) production micro enterprise will procure sewing machines resulting in increased quality and efficiency of production. The enterprise currently employs ten workers while resulting job creation is three immediate posts and additional five within a three-year period. The proposed CSR activity envisages donation of the necessary clothes from their own production to the Health Centre, Centre for Migrants and Civil Society Organisations.

Provision of a back-up server for the e-permitting system

E-permitting

Improvement of the electronic system for the issuance of building permits through the provision of a back-up server, which will enhance its stability and availability for over 6,500 users that benefit from it every day. Server and network equipment were procured through the project, as well as necessary licences. The aim of this activity was to contribute to the creation of a more favourable business environment by improving the efficiency and transparency of the e-government and, ultimatively, to new investments. At the same time, citizens’ trust in institutions, as well as the quality of services that are being offered through the e-government will also be enhanced.

Completion of Construction of the Kindergarten

Local Infrastructure

The construction of the new building for the kindergarten “Maslačak” will provide improved conditions for more than 200 children, thus doubling its current accommodation capacity. Additionally, the issue of the long waiting list in Sjenica, one of six local communities in Serbia with positive population growth, will be resolved while the kindergarten employees will have better working conditions, and at least three new jobs will be opened.

Improving the quality of life of children and youth with disabilities (CYWD) and enhancing social cohesion in their peer groups. The project envisages various infrastructural improvements to the day care centre for CYWD including the construction of the playground, summer classrooms and improving the main yard which is shared with the local kindergarten. Additionally, inclusive workshops will be organised with the participation of the primary and secondary school children.
